Directions to Mercy

To reach Mercy Medical Center by air, use the Des Moines International Airport (DSM) which is 12 minutes from the hospital. From the airport take Fleur Drive north until it becomes Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. Continue north to I-235 East and travel to the 7th Street exit. Travel east until you reach 6th Avenue, and then turn left onto 6th Avenue. One you pass Laurel St., the hospital will be on the right. Click here to find a map of the Mercy campus. Local hotels include Holiday Inn Mercy Campus (nearest), Marriott, Renaissance Savery Hotel and Hotel Fort Des Moines, all minutes from the Mercy campus.

If driving from the east or north, follow I-35 South or I-80 West to I-235 and  proceed westward to the 6th Avenue exit. Mercy is immediately north of the interstate. If traveling from the south or west, follow I-235 East to the 7th Street exit and go north on 6th Avenue.
